Introducing the Flapper glove, Armour’s new product development for the timber and forestry industry. The Flapper has been designed with one purpose in mind, and that is to eliminate splinter injuries as ply or timber operators slide wood material through the hand. These situations occur at many wood processing facilities nationwide and to date, no current hand protection products successfully perform against this type of risk or injury.
There are two versions of the Flapper glove. One has a canvas backing and strong saddle leather palm that stops any wood splinters entering the hand. The second style is completely made from waterproof leather (for outdoor working environments) with durable saddle leather palm that also eliminates splinters entering the hand.
Both gloves are made from A grade grain and/or split leather, are Kevlar stitched for significant seam strengthening, and have knuckle bars for back of hand protection.
